On the river

It was sunny, but still cold.  We wrapped up warm and walked around Whitlingham Broad.  Part of the walk runs alongside the River Yare, where 4 boats like this were tacking around.  They were shaping up for a race.

They all appeared to have youngsters skippering, and more mature, perhaps dad?, crewing.

It was very busy with long queues at the café, so we didn't stop for our usual cup of tea.  We've bought dressed Cromer crab for tea.
