Following the fence

Blue sky days are good but grey, heavy, wind blown snowy days are too. Sure I wished I had taken goggles, fell over a bit, mis-jumped into the not quite frozen burn rather than over it.
I also laughed, thought deeply about life and stories and influence,, breathed deep and felt the cold tickle, thought not so deeply about why shoelaces come undone just as your hands warm up and if sheep even like grass. I made a snowdinosaur, was thankful for strong (ish!) legs and laughed some more.

"the mountains themselves call us into greater stories"
A million miles in a thousand years by Donald MIller is my current listen and responsible for much of todays deeper ponderings.
