Bit chuffed with myself

Despite feeling a bit below par, I carried on with my open house arty crafty gathering this afternoon. I had no idea how many people would come so I was chuffed to bits when ten people turned up. We spent a great three hours chatting away about pretty much everything, occasionally talking about arty crafty stuff and generally just enjoying each other's company.

I'm not the most naturally social person in the world and questioned why I was doing this quite a lot over the past few weeks. I think I'm looking for a bit of community connection. It's important stuff. Anyway, I did it. I'm pleased I did it. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. New friends were made. Oh, and I inspired one guest to go home and make their own sketchbook. That's the blip.
