Proper cross country

Our club's cross country in beautiful Heathfield Park, a private estate of 450 acres.
We're very lucky to have access to this land to hold the event. 
I was marshaling today, this point is about 2 miles into the 5-mile race. The competitors here are already feeling the effects after a half mile climb on boggy, uneven ground.
I also had the pleasure of marshaling 50 kids at their turnaround point. Great efforts from all ages. And what a day for it.
