Early celebrations!

After church we headed into town for lunch. It was an early birthday celebration! Afterwards we looked round a couple of shops and headed home. Walking up one of our city’s main shopping streets I was deeply troubled by the number of homeless people. One poor soul looked skeletal, another was talking to a couple of people that had stopped to chat and he was in tears. I just can’t see this getting any better in the near future. We have to do better than this.
