Dog central

A crazy afternoon at Silverado. You really couldn't make this stuff up. But I will share the most benign encounter of my visit. I said hello to a man carrying around Ladybug, this small dog on my mom's lap. He said, "I'm tired of carrying this dog around." "Do you want me to hold it?" I asked. He did. He walked away. Ten minutes later I let the dog down and it ran off after its wayward master.

Tomorrow I go wayward. My husband and I are flying to Costa Rica. No more mom shots for two weeks. Instead, graphic images of respite.
