unexpected freebie

We have just bought a new mattress, the old one was about 20 years old. We were going to throw it away but I never like throwing stuff out and I was thinking what I could do with it. Then I had an idea - if Mr I could cut it up I could make pouffes. It didn't take him long and I've got this lovely big pile of foam squares. I can stash them 2 or 3 high and cover with upholstery material or trim the corners off for a round one. Lots of possibilities...
