All present and correct!!

Trip to R’s to fit the last door handle. She waited to paint the door after the new furniture was delivered, in case the settee ended up wearing the paint or was damaged by the handle etc. Good move as it was a tight fit going in!!

B did a bit of ‘health and safety’ on the back of a unit to make sure that it cannot be accidentally pulled over if the top glass doors are pulled open with ‘vigour’.

I sorted out the problem with the side gate lock. It now works.

A trio of successes. And the end of this phase of work.

The prescription saga has moved on. I spoke to the very helpful pharmacy manager who wasn’t on duty last week. I now understand the system that they work to.

Having heard all the details he apologised and said that under those circumstances it should have been dispensed. But the system works on minimal data..........
It pays to go to these ‘meetings’ well prepared with the relevant paperwork and a list of questions to ask if info is not forthcoming.

I found out loads more but won’t bore you with the details.

The next step is to see the GP and find out their side of the story. Who said No, who asked the acute hospital to pay for a primary care prescription..... has that request been made?

I rang the surgery to check that the relevant GP is on duty tomorrow, so that I could ring first thing to try to get an appointment. I was amazed to be told that he will be there and that there is an appointment free late afternoon. Was free.....it’s now mine!!!!!

All in all it has been a good day for achievements and progress. Let’s see if we can achieve some medication following the next phase of the investigation!!!

The weather has been warmer, dry, with beautiful blue sky.....good to raise the spirits. Also I had more sleep last night, no 1-2 am wandering!!!! Now that is a bonus!!!!
