Stolpersteine (stumbling stones)

The sun came out today and so, despite not feeling well, my husband and I went for a short walk through the neighborhood.  I thought I'd known where most of these memorial stones were, but this was a new grouping.  have never seen so many for one apartment building.  there was also a notification that there had been a Jewish prayer room in the building as well.  I really like the idea of these memorials, this one stopped me in my tracks to think of how many people stood by and watched as their neighbors were forcibly removed, never to return again.
