Tucson Marathon

A multidude of runners ran today in the Tucson Marathon and Half Marathon. This is part of the pack four miles into the Half Marathon.

This is a popular event because it is mostly downhill and because it is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.

We had a beautiful day cool in the morning, sunny, but not too hot in the afternoon. Most runners finished by mid- to late-morning.

The mountains provided a spectacular backdrop.

It was great for me to have a chance to help out by driving a Support Van to help return injured runners to the finish line.
