More settled tonight

I ve been building myself up towards an oncology appointment on Friday. Doctor called me himself to cancel. Had a phone chat instead, my heart output has been ok so recommended the full treatment of 3 weekly Herceptin injections. 8 out of 18 done. I will need monthly implants to keep my ovaries shut down for at least another 2 years. Didn't go in to how long I will be kept on tamoxifen. Probably 10 years. I feel blessed that the side effects have been kind so far. Blessed that everything is being done to prevent recurrance or mets.
So another 6 months until I am signed off from oncology, and he doesn't want to see me again thank you. I ll drink to that!!
