After Pasteis

Had our last morning in Lisbon with M & D and J and N - of course a visit to Belem was called for and the delicious fresh pasteis - Portugal's answer to egg custard and today's were warm and freshly baked with coffee - delicious.  This photo of the aftermath.  The rest of the day spend traveling back from Portugal to the UK and back up to Sutton where we were able to see D, P and S after just over a year and get settled in to No. 8 where we will be for the next week.  

Was encouraged to find a theme for blip and am going to attempt to find photos that go with poetry from a book of Lisbon's poets I picked up at the airport - we'll see how that goes from tomorrow!
