Tree work?

This morning we woke to white overhead on the skylight even tho it was still dark out!    

One pf the reasons we came here this week is to make a start on cleaning up our forest that was so damaged by the Dec 20 storm.   We haven’t been able to get any tree person to help yet tho  (there’s still lots to do everywhere)  and I think we’re not going to start today in this freezing cold!  So we just had a little walk and "admired" it with it’s dusting of snow…!!  4 trees down at once from one root ball here (can’t appreciate there is one in back) and the lovely big twisting Arbutus that the standing cedar and fir are framing….most of its limbs broke off making this part of the forest a lot lighter!    Not to worry, there is no way we are tackling that top tree, but we thought we could cut some smaller ones and try to resurrect a trail.  Or maybe not.,…
