A daytime view

The thing that struck me the most when I awakened this morning was the quiet - the snow had made a heavy cover over the roads and what little traffic there was crawled along very carefully.  The auto remodeling shop across the drive was closed, so no loud drone from there.  The snow had stopped, but it blew off the roofs like smoke.  And it's been beautifully quiet all day.

At the moment it's 27 degrees (21 with the wind chill factor), and I am wearing heavy socks, leggings, and a double layer of tops.  And even with the heat on all day, I'm not quite warm.  We had a high of 34 today, but our overnight temp is to be 19.  It's wonderful to be indoors.
