We have finally arrived in New Zealand at the start of our holiday.
We headed down to the harbour for a welcome beer and a wander round before the jet-lag kicked in properly.
There seems to be a lot of construction work in progress, including a new rail or tram line in the centre of town.
The 328m Sky Tower serves as a broadcasting tower and is popular tourist attraction.
