Snow Day

This Spotted Towhee's expression mirrors my feeling about snow. I knew our unusually mild winter couldn't last, so when we woke up to several inches of snow, I was grateful that I didn't have to go out in the cold today.

Our local birds spent more time than usual at our various bird feeders, and for the most part, managed to share the provisions. The extra photo made me laugh -- I hope it does the same for you!

Despite being inside all day, I managed to do 6,057 steps and was active (250 or more steps per hour) for 13 hours, as noted on my Fitbit. Having a totally "free" day helped!
