Day 036/19. Pretty, but stupid?

Are Pheasants the worlds most stupid birds? They seem to aimlessly wander around looking completely lost and confused.
We have an 'estate' behind our house, Cranbury Park, where there used to be organised shoots. As a part of that business they bred pheasants. The shoots have stopped a few years ago, but no-one told the pheasants to stop breeding.
A dull, misty, wet day today seems to set them wandering over the estate boundary into our garden.
