90 minutes of reports and then off out onto white roads and to Newhaven. A few there for the first 90 minutes and as the mist came in, I was prowling the mean streets of EH6.
As the day brightened I went off to the New Toon and was home for midday.
Johnny arrived a little while later to chum me on a couple that need corroboration; one was a tale of woe - 83 years old; 55 years of oppression and bullying coupled with random accidents and the loss of her daughter a few years ago - and all that paled into insignifcance with the final one.....tough tough tough.
I made it home in the rain and did a debrief and then spent an hour typing as the rain fell. A quiet evening in, cooking, job app part 2 and then spoke to the boys; home alone with the 82 year old with Parkinson's whilst their mum went to the gym at 9pm???
Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness.....oh...er.....no, wait....
