Enjoying the sun

A beautiful day, clear and crisp.  It's the anniversary of our first date, the anniversary we celebrate instead of our wedding anniversary. No particular reason, and we usually forget the actual date of our wedding.  My mum always sent us wedding anniversary cards, which reminded us, but she died in 1981, so we haven't had a reminder for a long time!  Lucky I have a perpetual calendar.

Edit: Just came downstairs after posting my blips and G has opened a bottle of wine for us from the region he came from in Italy.  It's called Gran Passione - Great Passion, which is an appropriate description for our feelings for each other.  For sure!!  :-)))

We went for lunch at Auntie Pesto's (no surprise there) and had fun with the manager and Amber our server. We've known her since she was born and her family lives just up the road.  Delicious meals as usual and a surprise anniversary dessert from the manager.
