Pavey Ark

Pavey Ark is the name of the summit.

It is also the name of the crag which has some great climbs on it.

It lies above Stickle Tarn in Great Langdale in the English Lake District

The line of Jack's Rake can be seen running from bottom R to top L.

This scramble is an exciting way up to the summit, but it is most definitely not for the faint hearted.

The scramble requires a steady head and for you to be comfortable with exposure and big drops.
You will need to use your hands as well as your feet to make progress. It can be slippy when wet or icy and should not really be considered a "walkers' route", despite it being featured in several walking guides.
