Close up of cranes

It was relatively quiet as I reached the bottom of Leith Street today, so I could hop briefly off the bike and take a picture in the middle of the roadworks there without risking life and limb (too much). Anyway, it was the only photograph I took, so it will have to do.

A productive day, with a swim earlier on, then writing, and finally an outing to the Filmhouse to see Mary Queen of Scots with the Book Group. As ever, I come away thinking "I must get to the movies more often", not least as it's usually pretty thought provoking. This portrait of a relationship between two women caught between male power brokers certainly fits that bill.

Late home, and even later when I got to sleep.
