Edible Cactus?

Dragon Fruit (or Pitaya) for sale on Brisbane farmers' market today. The fruits grow on the incredible tree-like cactus plant Hylocereus which blooms at night. I'm n ot overly fond of the flavour, though I do like their unusual appearance.
