Redwing
Another cold, grey and damp day and so far, and it is well after lunch, I have only been outside to fill up the bird feeders and photograph some ducks.
I had almost posted my blip of some Mallards, when several of these birds landed in the tree opposite my house. They are Redwings, Turdus iliacus which are quite common in my area in the winter; they are the UK's smallest Thrush. Again this was taken through the upstairs window.
