Dying Tradition

Possibly stretching it a bit for a Wide Wednesday shot (no pun intended) but the 'tradition' of paying for things by cheque is disappearing. I write about 2 per year, and today it is time to pay our subscription to (appropriately) the local historical society. I used my fountain pen to write the cheque. For some reason the bank have recently sent us another cheque book, so I reckon I have enough to last about 18 years.
