... in the English Market. Took son#1 to the airport at sparrowfart, actually I was amazed that it was already light, then decided to nip into the city to get a few things for the upcoming trip to New Zealand! Gulp! Just over 3 weeks away!  Toiletries, knickers (note to son#1 - you cannot have too many knickers), a neck rest thingy, some tension socks (nice) to stop your legs swelling up, a couple of tops and some irresistible things for Esme, including a waterproof book that squeaks. Lunch was a rather nice spinach and mushroom toastie in the English Market, a well known foodie emporium in Cork - Her Majesty even come here when she visited whenever it was. Good food, perfectly placed for people watching, plus a rather bonkers fountain which sadly no longer spurts.

In the end we went to Green Book yesterday, hoping that Roddy Doyle who directed Rosie and is coming to Schull film Festival in May, might show his film then. We all enjoyed Green Book, a feel good film with a punch - it could have been punchier and grittier but that would have made it a different film. Superb acting from the two main blokes.
