Santa has arrived...
Well... If you ever feel like your having a bad day... Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and do a good deed. (Wow I must be in a fab mood as that would normally choke me to say). Alternatively get yourself to a disabled riding school and really learn that "your drama" really isn't one and learn from those kids what life is really about. Fun, laughter, warmth, friendship, determination, stubbornness never giving up and love oh and occasionally the odd wooden dandy brush to the head (and a mighty fine snigger at pony trumps)
Today was the last day of term at Newbury riding for disabled. I had an awesome drive there in beautiful clear skies WITH THE ROOF DOWN fabulous Christmas tunes - Chris Rea driving home for Christmas. Fabulously cheesey but highly appropriate Christmas tune and a bit of mr Robbie Williams. A great singalong in the sun. Brilliant class and much giggling with my rda buddies. (Most amusing watching carolyn trying to catch pony plop in the bucket) Then Santa dropped by to deliver pressies to our special little riders on their tinsel topped ponies. Smarty cakes from mrs camp hopson the fabulous Lucy and snowmen from luscious Linda. Linky and Carolyn in fine banter form.
Topped off with a glorious walk with my buddy Carolyn up on Greenham common. One cocker, one lab and three springers. My kinda heaven.
Have just washed up from Saturday night - cooked up a storm for hubby, Claire n Michelle. Good friends n fine wine (a lot of fine wine) hence only just able to wash up now. The decorator is upstairs beavering away like a super hero - I'm just getting husbands tea then off to "fat" class and buy paint for decorator to have fun with tomorrow.
Today I am grateful for the wonderful amazing kids that I have the honour of helping learn to ride - life is back in perspective I am truly a very lucky bunny.
