Sidewalk Abstract*
Today was a rather abstract day.
Our painter came to take a drawer to the paint store to match the color and show them the sticky peeling paint.
Neither of us could get the drawer out.
I texted David who installed them to see if he could drop by and show us how to get them out. He became a friend when we first moved here and he helped us with all manner of things.
He came by when nobody was home. We know because he took the drawer out and left it on the counter. Not the drawer with the peeling, sticky paint.
We still don't know how he got it out.
I called the painter and she came back to pick up the drawer.
We hunted for the paint on the white cabinets, hoping there would be some left because there is only one white cupboard door that needs to be repainted.
We think we found it, but neither of us could get the rusted lid off to check the color.
We took one of the white cupboard doors off the hinges.
I went to the ATM to get some cash.
The ATM was out of cash.
Looking forward to avocado toast for lunch (my winter replacement for tomato sandwiches), I got home and discovered that OilMan had eaten the last avocado...
I spent considerable time making an abstract out of the picture I took near the ATM. The original is in extras.
At last...something positive to say about technology. I liked the result I got with Mobile Mania....
*As I was falling asleep last night I suddenly realized that there was one more abstract thing about the day...or at least my writing of it. It’s NOT Thursday! Oh well....it is now as I write this.
