So Excited

Yesterday my wife and I continued aurora hunting. We were so lucky as the northern lights were just emerging when we parked our car to the site on the hillside looking northwards. We walked down the path to a dark skiing track, and took the first shot. In about 20 minutes they were at their best and brightest (the main blip). Another 20 minutes, and I felt my toes freezing, and at the same time the northern lights were getting dimmer. So perfect timing.
