Blot on the landscape

This is the oil rig that can be seen for miles around from Bournemouth, Poole, the Isle of Wight and probably Swanage as well. They are only doing a provisional recce at the moment.
We were down in Bournemouth visiting my parents in law. They are both getting much slower but can still manage to catch a bus to go shopping although they are quite exhausted after an outing.
