A quiet day meant I could take my time with this and actually get the tripod set up, set the camera for 100 ISO and use a slower shutter speed.  Sometimes it has the feel of contemplation when I take photographs this way because I have to decide what it is that attracts me to this particular flower or object and how can I express this visually.  I like photographing tulips in black and white because of their sculptural form.
