Long shadows of early morning

On our early morning walk - Shelby, the dog, and I. The long shadows! The blue sky and early sunshine promise yet another gorgeous day.

Not gorgeous for those near the forest fires of Nelson. Dreadful! Rain there would help but they just keep having sun and, worse than that, wind.
