Sunshine and showers

When you get into town for an eye test, Dr's appointment and shopping to do and realise your purse is at home .... Grrr! Anyway I got everything done even if it did take about two hrs longer than expected.
Very strange weather today - heavy wet snow this a.m. Which closed lots of roads up in the hills and big black clouds and bright sunshine this afternoon. I love the silver birch at the back of the house. It is beautiful in all weathers and is rarely without some bird or other perching in it.
