High points

I never get tired of the view from the Gibralfaro in Málaga. Here I'm looking down at the city's cathedral.

But the real high spot of the day was when my wife and I went along to an intercambio (language exchange) group in a city centre bar.

We were split up and each allocated a table number. I was given table seven and shared the rest of the evening with four lovely Spanish people.

The idea is that you speak for an hour only in Spanish, followed by an hour only in English... and it worked fairly well.

I got on so well with a couple of people that we've swapped phone numbers to meet up again.
