Hoops Again

Forgive me for the overplay of the basketball team photos, but in a short time, it will all be over. We had to practice in an old gym downtown, one that these kids grew up playing in. It seemed a good measure of closure on their season, especially the seniors who will be honored tomorrow night. That’s Grace out in front, and the little white piece of paper in front of her is my quote for them tonight:

“May your hands always be busy,
May your feet always be swift,
May you have a strong foundation when the winds of changes shift.

May your heart always be joyful,
May your song always be sung,
And may you stay,
Forever young.”
