Day #19 Sydney

The last day of our holiday :( 
Our flight is not until 21:35 this evening so after checking out, we had a quick drink at Darling Harbour and then went to Manly on the ferry. It's only half an hour away and it's a lovely way to get around Sydney on their ferries - you can go anywhere all day for $15.80 max. Great value if you ask me.
We had a nice lunch at Moo along the seafront at Manly and a bit of a wander round, then came back for a wander around the Rocks since we had not done that this time yet. It was a nice way to round off the day. One last ferry back to Darling harbour to pick up our bags and we were off the to airport. It has been a tad cloudier today and been showing thundery showers on my iPhone all afternoon but they did not materialise which was good.  
However on the way to the airport there were some really black clouds coming over and some lightening in the distance. By the time we'd checked in and found the lounge a storm was in full force and all airport operations have been stopped for at least 90 minutes.....so far. 
We still have 90 minutes until our flight to SIN, but the previous one from 19:10 has not yet taken off...however, it does look a lot clearer out there and we can see the runway again, so fingers crossed the knock on effect won't be too bad. We have 4 hours layover in Singapore so can afford some delays, but not too many! Thank goodness we have business class on the way back too. 

I think I'm all caught up with my own blipping now so will start on the thank yous and comments that I owe many of you. Sorry to have missed out on all your wonderful blips whilst I have been away, but I know you all understand.
