'50 Years!!'

'You don't get that for murder!'  So said an Aussie cousin of TM's when we accidentally gate-crashed a Golden Wedding party years ago.

Now it's our turn. It's hard to believe ...  Yes, it was back in the era of black-and-white wedding pictures. This one's my favourite, because of the look on the minister's face.  The photographer has just said 'C'mon o'er here and feature in this yin, padre', in best Glaswegian style.

So, after a welcome night in my own bed last night, we're now in St Andrews for the weekend, and just going down to have a celebratory glass of fizz .....

50 years ago it was sunny and freezing .... today it's just freezing, and blowing a hoolie.  Nice to be at the seaside.
