Blue Orchid

A day for indoor photography!  As Storm Erik passes across the UK.  I'm still trying to work out how the focus shift technology works on the Nikon cameras.  All seems rather arbitrary as you set a figure from 1-10 to decide how wide the focus steps between shots.  Of course that also depends on the aperture you are using and the distance to the subject.  My research on the internet is yet to find anything definitive in the way of advice.

Anyway, more than 2 months on this orchid flower is still going strong.
