Waterlogged

It’s rained and rained... our back garden is now completely waterlogged. We don’t have a pond so we can only speculate where this chap has come from but he’s quite happy on the soggy lawn.

Dropped by a heron or other bird?
Exploring from a nearby pond?
Escaped from a child’s bucket of frogspawn somewhere nearby?
Or just lost?
