Storm Erik
A truly vile day, with high winds and fairly continuous rain. I kept my head down at the computer, finishing a botanical newsletter and entering some more data. At the end of the afternoon I suddenly noticed a glow developing in the western sky, and for a few brief moments the world was bathed in shades of orange and pink. I nipped down to the Rowing Lake and manged to take just a couple of shots before it all returned to grey.
