Patrick Moore

I had a very good friend named David, and we both respected Sir Patrick Moore as a brilliant scientist, and a hardworking astronomer.

David took his own life a few years ago, but when I heard Sir Patrick Moore had died, my first reaction was to ring him.

Rest in Peace Sir Patrick Moore, you influenced me to look up, to see the stars and to wonder what is out there...and a mutual love of stars gave me a friendship with David that I still treasure.
