Wintry Mix

That was the forecast for today and they weren't kidding----some sleet, some rain, some north winds and a whole lot of cold temperatures.  I actually saw a male Cardinal on my deck rail grabbing a bite to eat, but he was gone before my camera was ready, so, I am using this little guy as a stand-in.  I will concede that the real Cardinal was not wearing a warm cap, but he should have been.  And, yes, my tree is still up.....
