Silly Saturday

Today definitely started off silly...about 1am the wind was howling and whistling through gaps in the bedroom windows, until hubby filled them with loo roll!! When I woke up and looked out over the golf course the wind was blowing a hoolie still but several golfists were already batting balls around! As we went for breakfast a deer was taking a stroll around said golf course...it didn’t appear to be batting balls around though....silly me didn’t get photos of any of the above.

After a nice breakfast we packed up, checked out and headed for Warwick..which proved to be a quiet uneventful journey. We arrived too early for check in so had a walk up to the golf club. All my photos were taken enroute.

Lots of dangers...but apparently golfists were immune to them! Then I found Donald Duck lurking on a tree...which hubby thought was very silly. A gorgeous patch of crocuses...so much further on than ours up north, as were the catkins. Then a derelict door at the clubhouse which had originally been farm buildings by the looks of things.
