A bit blowy

Despite a hold up at Dartford Crossing (as ever!), we still managed to get here and just about settled into our apartment in time for Gordon to watch the Rugby. 

A super apartment on the sea front in Hythe, near Folkestone, is ours for the next two weeks. I took this photo from the window, so it's obvious that we just couldn't get much closer to the sea. Very windy, but quite bright. We look forward to exploring an area we like a lot, at the same time as being a little closer to family. And will we be able to resist the temptation to go across to France - we've brought our passports!
