Treats

I met with my lovely pal Margaret for a Japanese feast at Soyakaze in the City Centre. They do a thing they call Volcano roll : seafood in a sushi type roll, thats spiced, tempura deep fried. I love it and had it all to myself as Margaret seems to have become vegan.

The extra's : great music around the streets. The guy was knocking out wonderful soul with a great voice. The woman sang gentle folk type songs.

I went into our stunner of a library : still the most used in the country, to find Helena Kennedy's newish book ' Eve was shamed ' : how British Justice is failing women. I got stuck into reading it as soon as I got home. Her writing is wonderful.
