A Photography Day

After giving the house a thorough and much needed clean I set off for a long walk with my camera and tripod. I took more photos than usual but, as always, I wasn't really satisfied with any of them so here is the last shot of the day and one extra.

Extra: This little bird stood very still in the hope that I didn't see him or her.
I've no doubt there are experts amongst us who will be able to tell me if this is male or female?

We have a new flag thing too! Very cool but I'm not sure which one I should be using. I've lived in Scotland for fourteen years but I'm still English although my DNA test says I'm Scottish!
I'll settle for the Union flag for now.....I think!
