St Monans

A visit to St Monans this morning to meet up with friends for coffee and a catch up.

It was a bright, sunny morning but plenty of layers were needed to keep out the very strong, chilly wind that has continued to blow all day.

From St Monans we headed to St Andrews to renew our membership of the Botanic Gardens but sadly the gates were closed due to the extreme weather conditions .... that means another trip either tomorrow afternoon or Monday.

Many Eider Ducks came from the open sea into the relative shelter of the harbours in both St Monans and Pittenweem where they were happy to bob about on the waves of the incoming tide.
