Saturday Surprise...

It's been a bright, sunny day but very windy and quite cold in the wind. We had a couple of things to see to and then went for a walk at NT Anglesey Abbey. The place was very busy, everyone seemed to be there...

I was amazed to see this Red Admiral butterfly feeding on one of the flowering winter shrubs... Just a bit early to be coming out of hibernation I think.
