Canal traffic

This tug and barge is westbound through the Cape Cod Canal just before sunrise. It is empty now, having offloaded its oil cargo in Boston, it shuttles back to New York City to reload and shuttle back again. An almost daily ritual that will continue uninterrupted until the “well” runs dry.
