PAYING RESPECTS TO MR BADGER

This little hedgehog, who looked quite healthy but shouldn't have been awake and about at all, obviously knew that Mr Badger is the one to turn to in times of difficulty.

Several people, including me, told the wardens about the hedgehog but whenever they sent someone out it had disappeared. I hope it found somewhere warm and dry to go back to sleep because it's going to get colder again.

This almost made up for missing the three water voles which had been frolicking in front of one of the hides for ages just before I turned up!
