Apostle birds

Absolute beggars. These birds turn up the moment the heat movement outside, looking for food. At one stage they were eating out of Michael’s hand but he’s stopped feeding them because they kept landing on his head whenever he set foot out the door.
A few drops of rain fell today. Just enough to wet the bottom of the rain gauge. No significant rain predicted in the near or distant future. I’m beginning to wonder if it will ever rain again.
